It is timely to strengthen Aotearoa New Zealand’s preparedness for future pandemics following the retirement of the Covid-19 Protection Framework (the traffic light system).  While Covid-19 is still in our communities, most public health restrictions have been lifted, signalling the end of the emergency phase of the pandemic.
